Location and Geography: Hacienda Los Cabo’s' Condominiums are located about 15 minutes south of Los Cabo's International Airport
in Historic San Jose Del Cabo. Rental Cars and Taxi's are readily available at the Airport. San Jose Del Cabo was frequented by the Spanish Galleons that replenished their water supplies on the way to
the Philippines in the 17th century. The Pericu' were the indiginous people and now are believed to be extinct. In the
1730's the Jesuit Priest Tamaral founded the Mission near the Estuary. The Pericu' and other native people rebelled
against the Spanish in 1734, for banning polygamy. The Missions were burned and Tamaral was killed. This led the Spaniards
to build a garrison here and the city prospered through water, agriculture and trade. The US. Marines briefly occupied San
Jose Del Cabo during the Spanish/American War Today San Jose Del Cabo is the County Seat
for Los Cabo's and it has retained its colonial roots. Hacienda Los Cabo’s
Condominiums sits on a hill overlooking the historic town of San Jose Del Cabo, the Estuary and the Sea of Cortez where the
Spanish Galleons used to sail. Part of the Fonatur development Hacienda Los Cabo's is above the Mayan palace golf coarse
and the Zona Hotelera on Paseo de las Misiones.
